Plot Summary: A cheerful high school country bumpkin girl named, Cha Yang-soon (Jang Nara), lives with her grandmother as her parents are nowhere to find. She often dreams of her own fairy tale where she rescues her prince charming and lives happily ever after. She encounters the rich and arrogant Han Gi-tae (Jang Hyuk) who is president of the successful Snowy Cosmetics while bathing outdoors. To her surprise, a man in parachute gears accidentally lands off straight into her bathtub. It's a hate at first sight for the two.

A sense of duty to settle the debts amassed by her parents compels Yang-soon to leave the countryside. In dire straits, she works as a lived-in housemaid to a wealthy family in the city. Lo and behold! She finds herself face to face again with the man who fell into her bathtub! As it goes, Yang-soon is being shared to serve and clean the house of Gi-tae who happens to be the ward of her employer. Gi-tae makes Yang-soon's life a challenge while she struggles to balance work and studies. Yang-soon takes to heart her obligation to both households and somehow manages her daily routine accordingly. Yang-soon reproaches Gi-tae and starts teaching him some basic  manners through her litany of sincere and innocent naggings.

Gi-tae faces downfall orchestrated by his conspiring uncle and cousin. He loses everything and becomes penniless over night but the good natured Yang-soon stays by his side and helps him pick up the bits and pieces of his life. Gi-tae soon notices her strengths and starts falling for her. Through her encouragement, Gi-tae's confidence to regain what is rightfully his grows with each passing day. He learns so much from this experience and becomes a better person. With determination and hard work he gets his empire back and learns to love unconditionally.

My Thoughts:  This is an oldie but goodie drama series I happen to watch not so long ago. It not only offers  full package entertainment but also shares a huge lot of moral lessons. I came to know Jang Hyuk through Fated To Love You that got me  interested to look for his other series and this is one of those that I love. The lead stars apparently complement each other. Even their looks match their personality in the drama - great fit for the role if you will. The story and its execution will surely uplift your spirits and will give you a good laugh. I have nothing but only good thoughts about this drama and I'm sure that you will agree with me after seeing the Successful Story Of A Bright Girl.

My Rating: 10/10
