Plot Summary: Choi Su-wan (Kim Ha-neul) is a twenty-one year old second year college student tutoring Kim Ji-hoon (Kwon Sang-woo), also twenty-one years old but still in high school and in the process of repeating senior year the third time.

To help her parents raise funds for her tuition, Su-wan is tutoring students but often gets fired after hitting them. Her mother sells fried chicken that his father raises and the income of the family business is barely enough to send her to university. Her mother's rich friend wants a tutor for three months for Ji-hoon to pass his exams and finally finish high school. The fee being offered is enough to cover Su-wan's entire semester.

Endowed with handsome looks and his fighting skills, Ji-hoon is always able to attract students of the opposite sex which offends his rival, who used to be the most popular dude and notorious skillful fighter in the campus until he comes into the picture. Even his rival's girlfriend is drawn to him. All due to this, Ji-hoon always gets himself into trouble in school and even at home. His father wants him back to the US which he adamantly refuses. With the father's conviction, Ji-hoon challenges himself to get at least 50 percent in the upcoming exams. Su-wan, who is listening in the father-son conversation, tries to intervene but is shocked to hear Ji-hoon's declaration. There's no way for him to raise his score from eight percent, however, Ji-hoon is determined to do so. A bet between the two is conceived, if Ji-hoon achieves his target rating, Su-wan will dance on stage in the college festival.

Despite Ji-hoon's arrogance toward Su-wan, she is persistent in tutoring him and overtime their relationship improves. Exceeding by .1 percent of the passing mark, Ji-hoon gets Su-wan to dance on center stage in front of a huge crowd. The audience cheers her on and a group of guys starts gathering at the foot of the stage. A sense of jealousy hits Ji-hoon and leaves before Su-wan ends her performance. He later berates her for dancing like a bar show girl.

Ji-hoon comes ahead of Su-wan at a charity institution where the latter is scheduled to visit. As an act of charity, he did all the laundry. He over hears and snoops to the couple talking behind the sheets about breaking up. Ji-hoon learns that Su-wan's boyfriend has broken up with her. Ji-hoon shows up at the boyfriend's house to beat the hell out of him. He didn't know that the guy has chosen priesthood over his tutor. After the ordination, Ji-hoon lets Su-wan hit him for a mean while for what he did to Su-wan's ex-boyfriend and allowing her as well to vent out.

Ji-hoon takes Su-wan to hang gliding. Up in the air, Ji-hoon boldly tells her that he likes her over their communicator piece. Unable how to respond, Su-wan pretends she could not hear because of poor reception. Soon after, they went to the amusement park where Su-wan happens to see her friend she previously confided about her difficulty tutoring Ji-hoon. Her friend assumes that they are dating in which Su-wan readily dismisses, saying that she would never date a high school student. No reaction is seen from Ji-hoon but when Su-wan questions him about the gift he is giving her, he utters a sarcastic remark and discards the present into the fountain and leaves.

Ji-hoon's past deeds are catching up on him. His foes from different backgrounds is on him while the gangs hold Su-wan in captivity to lure Ji-hoon to them. They manage to escape but eventually gets cornered. He is left with no choice but to confront them head on. He fights with all his might to get him and Su-wan off the hook. The brawl ends with Ji-hoon facing the best fighter of the mafia gang. Thrown to the ground, Ji-hoon lies helplessly anticipating his final blow, but Su-wan saves him by kicking the man in the groin. They left the scene on Su-wan's delivery scooter with Ji-hoon riding at the back seat with both arms around her waist. They are now a couple. Su-wan comes back tutoring the younger brother along side Ji-wan torturing the latter with strict discipline.

My Thoughts: A very cute romantic comedy movie. I like how the story was pulled off - the arrogance of a tough guy being tamed by the tutor. I thought this is only happening in the movies or drama but the story was actually based on factual experiences of the writer. Her story attracted a large number of page views and the rest is history. Both lead characters had perfect chemistry. Sang- woo was so perfect for the role - I couldn't  say more. Ha-neul was also a perfect complement to him. There was never a dull moment, very consistent from beginning to end.

My Rating: 10/10
