Starring: Joo Sang-wook, Lee Min-jung
Plot Summary: Na Ae-ra (Lee Min-jung) falls in love with the nerdy Engineering student, Cha Jung-woo (Joo Sang-wook), who is a regular customer in Ae-ra's family owned restaurant. Ae-ra somehow sees Jung-woo as an investment who can build her a better future because of his chosen field. Whenever Jung-woo takes his meal in the restaurant, most often than not, Ae-ra would give him extra food for proper nourishment. After graduation, Jung-woo enters into the Civil Service, and marries Ae-ra with his promise to make her a plain housewife. However, Jung-woo decides to quit his job on the 100th day of being married to each other as he already have a business in mind to pursue. Unfortunately, Jung-woo is faced with many challenges to get through the initial stage of his business due to lack of funds. Meanwhile, Ae-ra starts taking on multiple jobs to keep them afloat and make both ends meet. Stress starts to kick in and Ae-ra suffers alone from losing the baby she's carrying. With all the hardships she is experiencing, Ae-ra makes up her mind to end her relationship with Jung-woo.
Three years later, Ae-ra discovers that Jung-woo makes into the corporate world. He has become successful, wealthy and is acclaimed as one of the eligible bachelors in South Korea. Ae-ra's life, on the other hand, remains unchanged. She works to survive, and continues paying off debts accrued during their marriage. Ae-ra schemes for her sweet revenge with Jung-woo, who strongly believes that she wants him back because of his wealth and status.
My Thoughts: You will certainly fall for this drama as much as I have. The romance of the two characters has never left my mind even up to this date. I never get tired watching this over and over again. The dashing debonair Sang-wook has captivated my heart. A role of a CEO fits him - he has the air of being one! Min-jung is funny - a job well done for being a complement to Sang-wook. I love watching their bickerings, push and pull moments and their denials as well. Goosebumps! Goosebumps and more goosebumps! Whether they're fighting, arguing and what have you - it's overbearingly cute and romantic. I just hope Sang-wook will do more romcoms.
My Rating: 10/10
