Plot Summary: Ha-young (Ha Ji-won) is dumped by her boyfriend just before their hundredth-day anniversary. On a bad mood, she kicks a can that accidentally hit Hyung-joon's (Kim Jae-won) nose, also slightly damaged his car when it hit a wall fence . Ha-young manages to escape when Hyung-joon demands $3000 upfront for the insignificant mishap she created. It could have been a perfect run away had she not dropped her wallet containing her identification card.

Unwilling to take things sitting down, Hyung-joon soon hounds Ha-young for the amount he is demanding from her. Ha-young's inability to settle the amount constrains her to enter into an enslavement agreement with Hyung-joon for 100 harrowing days. Ha-young is bound to run errands and household chores for him for the entire duration as stated in their agreement. Not for long, Ha-young learns that the actual repair cost for the scratched surface on the car is only $10. She takes revenge by further marring the car and his reputation as well, but Hyung-joon, of course, wouldn't take these all in. To make her life difficult, he gets on as Ha-young's tutor, but his goal takes an overturn as their frequent interaction brings them closer together that lead to an unexpected romance and eventually frees Ha-young from the agreement. Unfortunately, their best days come to a halt when Ha-young's mother sees Hyung-joon kissing her daughter just right outside their apartment. Without further ado, another tutor is immediately being employed to replace Hyung-joon. Ha-young has been trying to reach Hyung-joon, who hasn't been answering her calls. When she finally gets the chance, Hyung-joon tells her not to put an effort anymore as he is already done playing with her.

Ha-young struggles to move on without Hyung-joon in her life.  When she least expects it, Ha-young runs into Hyung-joon on her way home from a drinking spree with her buddies. She seeks confirmation from him if he indeed played with her. Hyung-joon ignores her and leaves her crying. Another overwhelming grief shatters Ha-young's emotions when she learns that Hyun-joon has already evacuated his apartment. A glimmer of hope lifts her spirits when Ha-young sees a ring inside an envelope she picks from the mailbox. Knowing it's from Hyung-joon, she vows to study very hard to qualify in the same university where Hyung-joon is in. She confidently takes the college entrance exam, but becomes despondent when she did not see her name in the passer's list posted on the board. Frustration kicks in. She meets up with her tutor showing so much unhappiness. To make her feel better, Ha-young's tutor takes her out for a quick drink to comfort and cheer her up as well. After done drinking, Ha-young's tutor tells her that she would like to bring her somewhere. When they reach the place, the  tutor excuses herself  for a quick run to the washroom. Ha-young is left alone in front of the vast expanse of waters. Lost in her thoughts, she is taken by surprise when everything around her suddenly lights up. She scans her surroundings as each structure in front of her lights up one after the other. As she turns around, she sees Hyung-joon standing next to her, After a quick conversation, he hands her a rolled piece of paper, As she unrolls, Ha-young is stunned to see the certificate of admission to the university. Apparently, Hyung-joon connives with the school administration to exclude her name from the list as he wants to deliver the good news by himself. On top of that, Hyung-joon even had to engage his school buddies for Ha-young's reviewer which he passes on to her tutor. All ends well for the two.

My Thoughts: I am a fan of Korean romantic comedies so I like this. Like many other rom-coms, the relationship starts with a hate at first sight encounter which is heart titillating for me. The lead stars have good chemistry which makes it cheesy. There is cuteness in the story and some minor flaws you wouldn't even notice. This movie intends to solely entertain you and not to challenge your intellect.

My Rating: 10/10
